Minden Bog - A walk through the Minden Raised Bog is a rare experience. Naturalists and bird watchers focus on this threatened ancient peat bog that provides habitat for thousand of creatures. North from Port Sanilac on M-25 to Deckerville Road, left for six miles to Village of Deckerville. Right on Ruth Road for seven miles to Palm Road. Turn left to bog at dead end.
Delaware Park - 111 Acres (Former Sanilac State Park) 19 rustic sites, nature trails and swimming beach. Location: 3 miles south of Forestville on US-25 6301 N. Lakeshore Rd., Deckerville. Sanilac State Game Area Covers about 900 acres & is located in Greenleaf Township.
Sanilac County Historical Museum
Petroglyphs - were first discovered after massive forest fires swept the Lower Peninsula in 1881. Native Americans created this unusual artwork 300 to 1,000 years ago.
