Friday, December 09 - Lapeer Grain

3:30 -7:30 p.m.: Children can visit Santa and his live reindeer, and have their pictures taken by their parents in the back building. Concessions will be available.

Saturday, December 10 - Deckerville Community Center

11:00 - 2:00: Hot Dog Lunch

11:00 - 3:00: Doll, Teddy Bear and Toy Collectors Show

Calling all doll, teddy bear & toy collectors. Bring them in to display for all to enjoy.

11:00 - Early Evening: Angel Walk

Luminaries will be on display at the center until set out on the sidewalk. Create your own luminaries in loving memory of a family member or friend during the Christmas season. Luminaries available at Eastern Michigan Bank and Flowers by Kevin. Suggested donation of $5.00 per bag with the proceeds going to the Deckerville Historical Museum.

11:30 - 2:30: Face painting & balloons by Lisa, with a free will donation.

2 shows during the day: Puppet Theater

11:45 - 12:15: Santa & Mrs. Claus Arrive

Caroling on the main corner with the Boy Scouts while waiting for Santa & Mrs. Claus to arrive on the fire engine to light the Christmas tree.

12:30 - 2:00: Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus

Have your picture taken with Santa & Mrs Claus. Candy provided by the Village of Deckerville & cookies provided by the Deckerville League of Women. You can also have lunch with Santa, served by the Dickens of a Christmas committee & the UMW.

3:00: Home Decorating Contest winners announced

Sponsored by Dickens of a Christmas committee. Deadline is 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 09. No need to register.

3:00: Business Snowman Decoration Contest winner announced

3:00: Angel Walk Memorial Prayer Service

We will have Christmas caroling and a community memorial prayer service after the contest winners are announced. The luminaries will be set out on the Main St. sidewalks by the Boy Scouts.
